Welcome to the Gurenɛ Wikipedia

demese

Hello Dnshitobu, and let me officially welcome you to the Gurenɛ Wikipedia! 😁

Congratulations to you and all your fellow contributors (pinging the other top 10 contributors, Akakiiri, Amoramah, Atalata Gumah, Uprising Man, Ayeera, Awinebotima, Ayimbila90, Lisahgh, MoalisticOriginal) for all your hard work that led to this. Good job!

Now, when a Wikipedia edition is brand new, there are a few problems in the beginning, that I will list below. All of these issues should be solved within one week, usually a lot faster. If any of these issues last for more than one week, please let me know, and I will help figure out how they can be fixed. The issues I know about are:

  • The Visual Editor doesn't work properly yet. You should be able to create new pages, but it will probably not work for editing existing pages yet.
  • Special:Search doesn't work properly yet.
  • Statistics on Special:Statistics and in so-called "magic words" like {{NUMBEROFPAGES}} don't work yet.
  • Adding interwiki links via Wikidata doesn't work yet.

Again, these issues should be solved within a few days.

Oh, the name of the main page from Translatewiki was Pɛgezure, but the name used in the Incubator was Pɛgerɛ yia. I moved the main page to the former name, but if it is better to use the latter name, I can move it back for you.

If there is anything you need help with, please feel free to reach out to me – you know where to find me. 😊 Jon Harald Søby (tɔgɛ) 20:17, 27 Gunfuko 2023 (UTC)Reply

Can you help

As an active editor who understands both English and Farefare, and who has been adding references to articles recently, perhaps you could help me with something. Could you please read my comments at Tuntuna tɔgum:Akuo Apɛyinɛ#Do not cite the English Wikipedia as a source and help explain to User:Akuo Apɛyinɛ what they are doing wrong and how they can do it right. Note that User:Atalata Gumah is making the same kinds of edits. - dcljr (tɔgɛ) 05:01, 18 Siibenya'aŋa 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Dcljr Thank you for drawing my attention to it. I will speak to them. Dnshitobu (tɔgɛ) 10:38, 18 Siibenya'aŋa 2023 (UTC)Reply
